Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Hot Shot, Eastbound At The Iaeger Drive-In, West Virginia, 1956 by Ogle Winston Link. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,273.48). Admittedly, works by Ogle Winston Link have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected images, 1955-1958 in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,735.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hot Shot, Eastbound At The Iaeger Drive-In, West Virginia, 1956 von Ogle Winston Link zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.273,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ogle Winston Link auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selected images, 1955-1958 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 33.735,92).
