In June 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Nuvolo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nuvolo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 62,664.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nuvolo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nuvolo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 62.664,20).
