Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nuvolo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in May 2015. In the The Great Wonderful: 100 Years of Italian Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 43,750.00 (€ 39,794.43) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nuvolo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October 2016 with the realized price of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 62,664.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nuvolo erzielte im Mai 2015 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Great Wonderful: 100 Years of Italian Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 43.750,00 (€ 39.794,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nuvolo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 62.664,20).
