Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Nouri al-Rawi was sold in the Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,505.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Nouri al-Rawi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work without title was auctioned for USD 21,250.00 (€ 16,959.30).
