Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Looking On Each Other by Norval Morrisseau was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2010. Here, the upper estimate of CAD 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CAD 10,200.00 (€ 7,621.05). Admittedly, works by Norval Morrisseau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shaman And Turtle in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 71,500.00 (€ 52,106.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Looking On Each Other von Norval Morrisseau kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in Toronto zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CAD 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CAD 10.200,00 (€ 7.621,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Norval Morrisseau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shaman And Turtle im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 71.500,00 (€ 52.106,30).
