In May 2014 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work "You're bound to get the occasional bad apple I suppose." by Norman Thelwell. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 614.52) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Norman Thelwell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'How many trading stamps did they give you with him?' in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,349.99).
