Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Norfolk Farmstead by Norman Thelwell was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,613.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Norman Thelwell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'How many trading stamps did they give you with him?', which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,349.99).
