Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work BA-2 by Norman Ives for USD 504.00 (€ 445.31). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Norman Ives - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in December 2021 for USD 1,134.00 (€ 1,001.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit BA-2 von Norman Ives für USD 504,00 (€ 445,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Norman Ives mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für USD 1.134,00 (€ 1.001,94) versteigert wurde.
