Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work i. Untitled Short Stories / ii. Untitled Short Stories 6 (Two Works) by Noritoshi Mitsuuchi was worth HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,428.13) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Noritoshi Mitsuuchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled Short Stories: Rabbit with Flowers in April this year with an auction result of HKD 52,920.00 (€ 54,041.67).
Kunstwerk zum Fünffachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit i. Untitled Short Stories / ii. Untitled Short Stories 6 (Two Works) von Noritoshi Mitsuuchi war einem Käufer im März letzten Jahres HKD 81.900,00 (€ 9.428,13) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Noritoshi Mitsuuchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled Short Stories: Rabbit with Flowers im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 52.920,00 (€ 54.041,67).
