Upper estimate price exceeded by 42 %.
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Noritoshi Mitsuuchi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 113,400.00 (€ 13,710.89), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Noritoshi Mitsuuchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled Short Stories: Rabbit with Flowers, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 52,920.00 (€ 54,041.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Noritoshi Mitsuuchi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 113.400,00 (€ 13.710,89) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Noritoshi Mitsuuchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled Short Stories: Rabbit with Flowers beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 52.920,00 (€ 54.041,67) versteigert wurde.
