Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Nordahl Grove could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Summer landscape with a farm changed hands for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.37) - just shy of the DKK 4,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Nordahl Grove have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Early morning in winter in September 2003 with an auction result of EUR 3,346.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nordahl Grove konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Summer landscape with a farm für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nordahl Grove auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Early morning in winter im September 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.346,00.
