This artwork by Nordahl Grove achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in August 2002. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction, the work Deer grazing in a park at dusk sold for GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,668.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nordahl Grove - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Early morning in winter, which sold at auction in September 2003 for EUR 3,346.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nordahl Grove erzielte im August 2002 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES wurde die Arbeit Deer grazing in a park at dusk für GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.668,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nordahl Grove mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Early morning in winter beobachtet, die im September 2003 für EUR 3.346,00 versteigert wurde.
