In December 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Untitled, 2007 by Nobuyoshi Araki. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,304.54), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuyoshi Araki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From Close to Range in April 2014 with an auction result of USD 191,000.00 (€ 137,707.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, 2007 von Nobuyoshi Araki zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.304,54) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nobuyoshi Araki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit From Close to Range im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 191.000,00 (€ 137.707,28).
