The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,293.10) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nja Mahdaoui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ikhtilej in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 341,000.00 (€ 272,146.85).

Die Arbeit Gammarth Triptych 1 von Nja Mahdaoui kam im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 19.293,10) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nja Mahdaoui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ikhtilej im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 341.000,00 (€ 272.146,85).
