It achieved a price of USD 74,500.00 (€ 53,416.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24%. Admittedly, works by Nja Mahdaoui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ikhtilej in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 341,000.00 (€ 272,146.85).

Die Arbeit Concretion I von Nja Mahdaoui wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart I bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 53.416,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nja Mahdaoui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ikhtilej im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 341.000,00 (€ 272.146,85).
