Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Mode by Nina Beier was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,279.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nina Beier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Mode in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,097.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Mode von Nina Beier wurde im September 2015 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.279,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nina Beier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Mode im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.097,43).
