In September 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Nikolas Gambaroff. The auction ended at the price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,539.58), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolas Gambaroff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,935.62).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im September 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nikolas Gambaroff zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.539,58) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolas Gambaroff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.935,62).
