Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nikolai Vechtomov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2017. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work without title sold for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,829.34) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nikolai Vechtomov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ville de l'Est/ Eastern town sold at auction in January 2024 with the realized price of EUR 9,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nikolai Vechtomov erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.829,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nikolai Vechtomov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ville de l'Est/ Eastern town im Januar 2024 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 9.600,00.
