Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Form 10 by Nikolai Vechtomov was sold in the Escape Artists: The Non-Conformists Online auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2018. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,860.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Vechtomov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ville de l'Est/ Eastern town, which sold at auction in January 2024 for EUR 9,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Form 10 von Nikolai Vechtomov wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Escape Artists: The Non-Conformists Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.860,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Vechtomov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ville de l'Est/ Eastern town beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für EUR 9.600,00 versteigert wurde.
