This price was achieved in the auction Escape Artists: The Non-Conformists Online at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 800.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Vechtomov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ville de l'Est/ Eastern town, which sold at auction in January 2024 for EUR 9,600.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Escape Artists: The Non-Conformists Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 800,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Vechtomov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ville de l'Est/ Eastern town beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für EUR 9.600,00 versteigert wurde.
