Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Village Stream by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,008.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children By The Piano in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,133.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Village Stream von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky kam im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.008,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children By The Piano im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 493.133,17).
