Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Portrait of a young boy wearing a cap by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 83,725.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Children By The Piano in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,133.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a young boy wearing a cap von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 83.725,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Children By The Piano im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 493.133,17).
