Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Girl Herding Cows by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 35,237.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children By The Piano in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,133.17).

Die Arbeit Girl Herding Cows von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.240,00 (€ 35.237,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky erzielen.
