It achieved a price of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 96,366.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Admittedly, works by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Children By The Piano in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,133.17).

Die Arbeit New Songs von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 96.366,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Children By The Piano im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 493.133,17).
