Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work The Schoolgirl by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky. The price achieved of GBP 162,500.00 (€ 183,652.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Children By The Piano, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,133.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Schoolgirl von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 162.500,00 (€ 183.652,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Children By The Piano beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 422.500,00 (€ 493.133,17) versteigert wurde.
