Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nicolas Kalmakoff could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work Angel Of The Holy Grail From An Unrealised Production Of Gawan changed hands for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,177.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Kalmakoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aphrodite with Eros and Anteros in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 380,941.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicolas Kalmakoff konnte im November 2012 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Angel Of The Holy Grail From An Unrealised Production Of Gawan für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 26.177,84) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Kalmakoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aphrodite with Eros and Anteros im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 313.250,00 (€ 380.941,16).
