Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flame V by Nicolas Kalmakoff was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2017. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,940.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolas Kalmakoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aphrodite with Eros and Anteros in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 380,941.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flame V von Nicolas Kalmakoff kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 56.940,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Kalmakoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aphrodite with Eros and Anteros im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 313.250,00 (€ 380.941,16).
