Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of the artist's wife Antonie Erhardt (1894-1969) by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,730.21) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children By The Piano in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,133.17).

Die Arbeit Portrait of the artist's wife Antonie Erhardt (1894-1969) von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky kam im November 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.730,21) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children By The Piano im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 493.133,17).
