Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work No way! No way! by NIKKI was worth HKD 630,000.00 (€ 72,524.11) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by NIKKI; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of HKD 75,600.00 (€ 77,202.39).

Die Arbeit No way! No way! von NIKKI war einem Käufer im März letzten Jahres HKD 630.000,00 (€ 72.524,11) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von NIKKI; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 75.600,00 (€ 77.202,39).
