Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maeve, Santa Barbara Friend by NIKKI was sold in the What Now?: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in February this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 88,200.00 (€ 10,598.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by NIKKI have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of HKD 75,600.00 (€ 77,202.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maeve, Santa Barbara Friend von NIKKI wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion What Now?: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 88.200,00 (€ 10.598,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von NIKKI auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 75.600,00 (€ 77.202,39).
