Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Imprints Of A No. 50 Paintbrush Repeated At Regular Intervals Of 30Cm by Niele Toroni. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 43,250.00 (€ 50,053.65). Admittedly, works by Niele Toroni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre - 1974 in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 319,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Imprints Of A No. 50 Paintbrush Repeated At Regular Intervals Of 30Cm von Niele Toroni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 43.250,00 (€ 50.053,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Niele Toroni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1974 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 319.800,00.
