In September 2021 Christies held the auction An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection, which included the work The Mower by Nico Jungmann. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,327.03) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nico Jungmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,694.97).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2021 führte Christies die Auktion An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Mower von Nico Jungmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.327,03) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nico Jungmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.694,97).
