This artwork by Nico Jungmann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2012. In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work Holding a loved one on the quay sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,451.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nico Jungmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,694.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nico Jungmann erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art wurde die Arbeit Holding a loved one on the quay für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.451,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nico Jungmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.694,97).
