Auction result well in line with expectations

In February 2007 Christies in London held the auction Christopher Wood A Very Victorian Eye, which included the work The favourite doll by Nico Jungmann. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,981.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nico Jungmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,694.97).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Februar 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christopher Wood A Very Victorian Eye durch, in der auch die Arbeit The favourite doll von Nico Jungmann zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.981,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nico Jungmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.694,97).
