The work Dutch ladies knitting in traditional dress by Nico Jungmann was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2012. It achieved a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,672.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Nico Jungmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,694.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dutch ladies knitting in traditional dress von Nico Jungmann kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.672,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nico Jungmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.694,97).
