In October 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art, which included the work The Coachman by Nicolai Remisoff. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,469.83), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nicolai Remisoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Tavern in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 58,100.00 (€ 81,355.03).

Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Coachman von Nicolai Remisoff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.469,83) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolai Remisoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Tavern im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.100,00 (€ 81.355,03).
