This artwork by Nicolai Remisoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the Russian Art and Paintings auction, the work Russian Tavern sold for GBP 58,100.00 (€ 81,355.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. This high result makes Russian Tavern the most expensive artwork by Nicolai Remisoff that we have observed at auctions so far.
