Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life by the Shore by Nicolai Cikovsky for USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,542.76). This price was achieved in the auction American Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Nicolai Cikovsky have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2009 by the work Candlewood Lake at USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,936.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life by the Shore von Nicolai Cikovsky für USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.542,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Nicolai Cikovsky wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Februar 2009 die Arbeit Candlewood Lake mit USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.936,03).
