In December 2018 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Portrait Head #9 by Nicola Tyson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 875.00 (€ 763.79), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicola Tyson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure and Ploughed Field in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 42,081.64).

Im Dezember 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Head #9 von Nicola Tyson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 875,00 (€ 763,79) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicola Tyson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure and Ploughed Field im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 42.081,64).
