Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pigeons by Nicola Hicks was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,219.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicola Hicks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sorry, Sorry Sarajevo in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 42,931.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pigeons von Nicola Hicks kam im Juli 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.219,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicola Hicks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sorry, Sorry Sarajevo im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 42.931,66).
