Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cockerel by Nicola Hicks was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2011. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,434.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicola Hicks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sorry, Sorry Sarajevo in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 42,931.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cockerel von Nicola Hicks kam im Juli 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.434,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicola Hicks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sorry, Sorry Sarajevo im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 42.931,66).
