The work Saint Nicholas of Bari by Nicola Grassi was sold in the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction at Christies in London in July 2005. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,354.83), 15% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nicola Grassi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Holy Family in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,211.94).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Saint Nicholas of Bari von Nicola Grassi wurde im Juli 2005 in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.354,83) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola Grassi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Holy Family im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 38.211,94).
