Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vanitas, Toilet by Nicola Bolla was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | Milan auction at Sothebys in Milan in February 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nicola Bolla have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vanitas (Teschio) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,600.00 (€ 29,948.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vanitas, Toilet von Nicola Bolla wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola Bolla auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vanitas (Teschio) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.600,00 (€ 29.948,59).
