Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nicola Bolla could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Prison Window changed hands for EUR 6,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicola Bolla have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vanitas (Teschio) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,600.00 (€ 29,948.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicola Bolla konnte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wechselte die Arbeit Prison Window für EUR 6.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola Bolla auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vanitas (Teschio) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.600,00 (€ 29.948,59).
