Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2019 Christies in London held the auction The George Michael Collection Online Auction, which included the work Vanitas (Bandiera) by Nicola Bolla. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,430.44), 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicola Bolla - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanitas (Teschio), which sold at auction in May 2008 for USD 46,600.00 (€ 29,948.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion The George Michael Collection Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vanitas (Bandiera) von Nicola Bolla zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.430,44) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicola Bolla mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanitas (Teschio) beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für USD 46.600,00 (€ 29.948,59) versteigert wurde.
