Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work White Witch by Nicky Hoberman was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2007. It achieved a price of USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,349.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Nicky Hoberman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Froth in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 33,291.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit White Witch von Nicky Hoberman kam im Februar 2007 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.349,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicky Hoberman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Froth im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 33.291,34).
