Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work 'Elephants and Egrets after storm, Amboseli, 2007' by Nick Brandt. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 115,000.00 (€ 9,739.31), 15% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Brandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elephant drinking, Amboseli, 2007 in May 2018 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,639.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Elephants and Egrets after storm, Amboseli, 2007' von Nick Brandt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 115.000,00 (€ 9.739,31) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Brandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elephant drinking, Amboseli, 2007 im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 99.639,03).
