This artwork by Nicholas Roerich achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2018. In the Russian Art auction, the work Spring in Kulu, from the Kulu series sold for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,271.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicholas Roerich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Himself Came in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,756,500.00 (€ 2,459,554.43).
