Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Blue Morning by Nicholas Roerich was auctioned at Christies in New York in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 126,000.00 (€ 119,047.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicholas Roerich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Himself Came in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,756,500.00 (€ 2,459,554.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Blue Morning von Nicholas Roerich kam im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 126.000,00 (€ 119.047,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicholas Roerich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Himself Came im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.756.500,00 (€ 2.459.554,43).
