Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nguyen Nam Son achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work UNTITLED sold for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 60,928.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 240,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyen Nam Son - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nude, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,649.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nguyen Nam Son erzielte im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit UNTITLED für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 60.928,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 240.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Nam Son mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nude beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.649,74) versteigert wurde.
